This Pit Bull Went From Being Skinny To Healthy With The Help Of Good People

When a dog is not taken care of, there’s a risk for them ending up in bad condition. This is what happened to a pit bull named Lazaruff. He was neglected, and because of that, he became emaciated. This is his story.

Dr. Marty Becker found Lazaruff and was horrified by the condition the dog was in. If nothing was done to help the Lazaruff, he might be scheduled to be euthanized. Dr. Becker made a plan to save the pit bull.

Dr. Becker planned to take the pit bull to Northern Idaho. He’s going to work with an animal shelter to help Lazaruff find a home. They drove all the way from the state Louisiana to Idaho. They were off to travel for 2550 miles.

On the way, they had several pit stops. It was a way for Lazaruff to have fun and walk and enjoy certain sceneries along the way. First, they stopped at Alexandria, Louisiana. Next, they stopped at downtown Dallas. They visited more places such as Electra in Texas, Colorado Springs, Casper and Buffalo in Wyoming, Butte and Missoula in Montana, etc. Finally, they arrived at their destination.

Lazarus was finally able to meet his new owners after traveling for miles. He looked so happy to see them. The new owners heard about Lazarus and his story from a friend.

They believed Lazarus was a special dog that needed a special home. The owners feel fortunate for having Lazaruff, and they’re willing to give everything they can to make sure the pit bull enjoys a good life.

It was thanks to the efforts of Dr. Marty Becker and the Panhandle Animal Shelter’s Home to Home program for the success of the adoption. Lazaruff’s story is another addition to the examples of how dogs can recover well once they are in the right environment.
